The Angleton Volunteer Fire Department was formed to protect and serve the
citizens of Angleton, Texas along with all surrounding rural areas. The members
also work extremely close with neighboring fire departments to protect the
citizens within Brazoria County, Texas.
Along with the highly visible services of fire fighting and rescue, the Department also provides other services such as assisting local police, EMS, and Life Flight services; bomb protection; hazardous materials response; and fire prevention education.
All members of the Angleton Volunteer Fire Department are volunteers and do what they do out of their love for their neighbors and community. Each member endures many hours of ongoing training to obtain their state certification to be a Certified Volunteer Fire Fighter. This level of certification helps ensure that the department provides the highest level of service to their community.
